Vocalist

Dennis has been singing in the Pacific Northwest for over 25 years and has a reputation as a hard working musician with style and grace. A background in rock and R&B has led Dennis to evolve as a singer with one foot in the blues and his eyes on the horizons of jazz and the songbook of great American standards. A professional and engaging performer, Dennis is at ease in any setting, be they concert engagements, weddings, anniversaries, company parties, and other gatherings which require a diverse repertoire.

Mr. Hastings has performed with The Fleetwoods as ‘Mr. Blue’, on the same billing as The Marcels and The Platters, and has been on stage with such luminaries of the blues as John Lee Hooker and James Harmon. He has also been featured in concert with jazz vocalists Cleo Lane and Nina Frelon, as well as with Northwest singers Greta Matassa and Gail Pettis at major venues, including Jazz Alley, Jazzbones and the northwest music festival, Bumbershoot.

Dennis’s rare gifts are on display regularly at a variety of local clubs and theaters. Music lovers consider him a gem of the Puget Sound area.

JACK KLITZMAN

Saxophones, clarinet and flute

Jack, artist on saxophones, flutes and clarinets is a contributing force in the national music community, performing with swing, jazz, classical, R&B, pop, and rock bands and orchestras.

He is an accomplished composer, arranger and orchestrator with a multitude of fine works to his credit. As a contractor of bands and orchestras of all sizes, he has established a national reputation in the performance and production of music for live musical theater, touring major artists, film scores, radio and TV shows, CDs and commercial projects for Boeing, Microsoft, McDonalds, Hewlett Packard, Coca Cola, the Mariners and the Seahawks, just to name a few. Many touring productions of Broadway shows have been graced by his talent as a woodwind specialist.

Jack has appeared in concert with such artists as Natalie Cole, Sammy Davis Jr., Bob Hope, George Burns, Johnny Mathis, Ray Charles, Gladys Knight, the Four Tops, The Temptations, The O’Jays, Dionne Warwick, Mitzi Gaynor, Perry Como, Lou Rawls, George Benson, Third World, Della Reese, Julio Iglesias, Tony Teneille, Ben Vereen, Roberta Flack, Rodney Dangerfield, Howie Mandel, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas and many others.

His long list of recording credits includes projects by major artists, film scores, radio and TV shows, commercials and industrial projects for Boeing, Microsoft, McDonalds, Hewlett Packard, Coca Cola, the Mariners, Seahawks, Sonics and many others. He enjoys most of all playing well-designed arrangements where the subtleties are not lost.
